What this service does
Smile Simulator lets dental practices offer an AI-generated "before and after" smile preview on their website. When you use a practice's simulator, you upload a photo of your face and choose a treatment to preview. The image we return is an illustration only. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan or guarantee of results.
Information we process
- The photo you upload and the preview images generated from it.
- Contact details you provide (email, phone, name) and your consent choices.
- Technical data: a hashed IP address, browser type, the website you used the simulator on, and campaign parameters.
We do not create biometric templates or use your photo to identify you. Photo metadata (such as location) is removed on upload.
How it is used and shared
Your photo is sent to an AI image model to generate the preview. Your contact details and the preview are shared with the dental practice whose simulator you used, which is responsible for how it contacts you. Our service providers (sub-processors) are: Google (Gemini API, image generation; paid tier, inputs are not used to train models), Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (billing for practices) and Cloudflare (bot protection). We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Original photos are deleted automatically after the practice's retention period (30 days by default) and previews after 90 days by default. Contact details remain with the practice as a lead record until you ask for deletion.
Your choices
You can ask the practice or us to delete your photos and contact details at any time at [privacy email]. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection). This service is not intended for anyone under 18.
